If you’ve ever wanted to know a more natural way to clean your clothes and still get that clean feeling from your laundry routine, then here’s your chance. We’ve found a great recipe using Bar Castile Soap products and a few simple ingredients to get the job done!

For this recipe you’ll need:
Food Processor
2 Bars – Castile Soap (Available in Almond, Lavender, Peppermint and Black)
3 Cups of Washing Soda
2 Cups of Borax
Optional – 30 Drops of Cleaning Essential Oil (Lavender, Tea Tree, Lemon, Orange)

Instructions
Cut the bar soap into small slices. You can use a cheese grater if needed.
Place slices into the food processor bowl. Pulse until the result is large crumbs.
Combine the washing soda and pulse again till mixture is even sized.
Pour mixture into the laundry powder storage container and add borax and essential oil, if using.
**If you do not have a food processor to use a cheese grater and hand mixing can yield the same results
**Use 1/8 cup for top loading machines and 2 tablespoons for front loading machines
